Brazilian and American, she is carioca. Sonia Peyroton arrived in San Francisco years ago and established herself among artists and musicians. Multi talented she designs websites, teaches Portuguese, and now is a producer of the most recent event in San Francisco that combines art and music. Both cultural expression of her home country is spiced with the American taste of curiosity. Sonia decided to create an event that reunites diverse talents during an evening of fun and cultural exchange. Learning about our artists, musicians, singers and song writers surrounded by sounds and images transcends every diverse cultural experience. Every night will feature an up and coming DJ. The night will be open at 9pm with an art exhibit. Showcases will range from photography to painting, artisan crafts, sculpture, collage art and more, with new artists highlighted every week. Dave Eresian (Vocals and Guitar), Aurea Onorato (Vocals), Scott Johnson (Drums and Vocals), Velvi Appleton (Guitar, Keyboard, and Persussion), Paul Eastburn (Bass), Emiliano Benevides (Percussion), and Urubu Malandro (Percussion) will rhythm you out. The Dj Vavavoom will shake you afterward. Every Thursday BraziLive will be host at El Rio a venue situated at the heart of Mission (El Rio - 3158 Mission St(@ Cesar Chavez, San Francisco, CA 94110).
